Growing your hair long - A Dummies Guide for Men

1.Be Patient.
2.Understand the difference between Soap & Shampoo.Soap is for body and Shampoo is for hair.
3.Get used to terms and products such as Conditioner, Nourisher,Enricher etc.
3.Keep Scrunchie's (elasticised fabric bands - hair band's yaar) handy all the time - few in the office, few at home, few in the car, few in your pockets.
4.Remember, you cannot tie wet hair.Wait untill hair dry!!
5.Enlist the help of wife, daughter, mother to tie a Pony Tail.
6.Bond with Daughter - Go Srunchy shopping together.
7.Start using hair brushes - combs will no longer serve the purpose.
8.Sunday's and holidays are hair maintenance days.
9.Get a Hair Dryer - Start Blow drying your hair

Lahore - the border crossover

For as long as I have had the travel bug in me, I have wanted to visit Pakistan and specifically go to Lahore. I remember making a life list a couple of years ago and Pakistan figured top on the list of places I wanted to visit. I am asked by many - 'Why Pakistan?' - considering the strained relationship between our countries. I have the answer in two parts for them. a) My maternal grandparents hail from Lahore. Solo in Goa - the planning

I never realized that my maiden solo sojourn would spark off a spate of justifications I would have to make to both my family and friends. Having had spoken to my wife, I thought I had rested any emanating objections. But this was not to be so. Bull's Eye July 2009 I was at the movies yesterday. The national anthem, now mandatorily shown in Mumbai, version with Siachen as the background is not only breathtaking but a hair raising experience for me every single time I see it.
